Caribou City Council endorses project

CARIBOU—The Caribou City Council unanimously passed a resolution at their meeting February 28, 2005, offering their adamant support for the CHS Music Building Fund and they work that the committee has accomplished.

The resolution, titled, "To declare the position of the Caribou City Council as adamantly supporting the Caribou High School Music Building Fund committee in their proposed investment in expanding music education, performing arts and cultural enrichment in Greater Aroostook County", is the latest of a public endorsement for the fund. The Caribou Board of Education signed a letter of support the February 2005 and former Maine Governor Angus King offered his support in the summer of 2004.
