Caribou High School Music in the Park                                                                          July 8, 2005
The CHS Music Building Fund will be sponsoring a concert at Teague Park on July 8th at 8:00 PM, directly after the parade. Please check back for more information.

Caribou Cares About Kids Parade                                                                                 June 8, 2005

As part of CaribouFest 2005, the Caribou Cares About Kids Parade will be held on July 8th at 6:00 PM. The CHS Music Building Fund will be walking in the parade. The parade route extends from the Skyway Plaza, down Bennett Drive, to High Street, Herschel Street, Record Street, and then onto Sweden Street until Reno's Family Restaurant.

Country Generations Concert                                                                                        June 2, 2005
Country Generations, a popular show band from Nova Scotia, will be performing to benefit the CHS Music Building Fund on June 11, 2005 for a matinee show at 2:00 PM and then another show at 7:00 PM, both at the Caribou Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $6.00 for students under 12 and $10.00 for adults in advance. Tickets will also be sold at the door at $10.00 for students and $15.00 for adults. Tickets will be sold at Food Trend and Ouellette's Variety in Caribou, and in vendors in Fort Fairfield, Van Buren, Fort Kent, Presque Isle, and Houlton. The Caribou High School Band, Chorus, and Strings ensembles held their annual Spring concert on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 7:00 PM in the Caribou Performing Arts Center. Donations were accepted.

The Caribou High School Band held a benefit concert for the CHS Music Building Fund on May 1, 2005 at 7:00 PM in the Caribou Performing Arts Center. More than $1,000 was raised at the event. « more »

Scrapbook Class                                                                   April 27, April 29, May 2, & May 5, 2005
Sandy Marrett held a scrapbook course in the Cafeteria at Caribou High School on Wednesday, April 27; Friday, April 29; Monday, May 2; and Thursday, May 5 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Classes cost $10 each and half of the proceeds went towards the CHS Music Building Fund. « more »

Jazz Concert                                                                                                              March 31, 2005
The Caribou Music Department held a Jazz Concert on Thursday, 31 March at 6:30 in the Caribou Performing Arts Center. Admission was free. Donations were accepted for the CHS Music Building Fund. Groups that performed will included the Middle School Show Choir and Jazz Band and the High School Jazz Band and Jazz Combos.
