Recognition
Once the facility is built, a plaque will be placed inside the facility listing donors according to the donation category they fall under. These categories are: Friend: $50 to $499; Bronze: $500 to $999; Silver: $1,000 to $4,999; Gold: $5,000 to $9,999; Platinum: $10,000 or more.
In addition, a grand opening event will be held at the new facility as a way to recognize the individuals, businesses, and organizations that helped make the new center possible.
Tax Deduction
The Caribou High School Music Building Fund is a tax-exempt non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations made to this fund are exempt under section 170. If you or your organization would like to request a copy of the determination letter, please email us at info@cariboumusic.org and a copy will be sent.
Three-year Pledge Period
The committee has created a three-year pledge period, which will allow donors who are contributing large amounts of money to spread payments out over time. Payment sizes and dates will be determined on an individual basis between donors and committee administration. To obtain a donation/pledge card, please contact the committee at info@cariboumusic.org.
Payroll Deduction
All Caribou School Department employees are eligible to take part in a payroll deduction program. Contributions can be made by subtracting the total donation out of a single check or by selecting a total donation and subtracting money from a check for one, two, or three years, in equal installments. For more information about this program or to obtain a form, please contact Karen Nadeau at the Superintendent's office, at knadeau@mail.caribouschools.org.
